Terms of Use

The service
Forkply is a digital service operated by Szabó Gergő Péter E.V. It lets you publish one public page of links at forkply.com/{handle}, create short links at /l/{uid} that redirect and record clicks, and generate QR codes you can download. We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregated, cookieless page-view statistics. We may change features. The product is provided as described in the app, except where the law says otherwise. We do not offer branded domains, link cloaking, geo-routing, Wi-Fi or vCard QR types, or a creator storefront.
Your account
You must provide accurate sign-up details and keep your handle lawful. Reserved names such as admin and l cannot be claimed (l is the short-link path). You are responsible for content on your page, short-link destinations, and QR targets. Visitor email capture is currently off.
Plans and billing
The Free plan includes a limited page (3 links), a Forkply badge, 1 short link, 1 QR code, page colors, solid buttons, a classic header, solid, gradient, pattern, or organic backgrounds, and a set of basic fonts. Pro is the only paid plan and is billed by Stripe at the price shown in the product at checkout (5 USD per month or 50 USD per year). Pro unlocks unlimited links, short links, and QR codes, QR design options, extra themes, extra fonts, Outline and Glass buttons, Hero, Banner, and silhouette headers, photo wallpaper, removal of Forkply branding, Insights for 30 days with taps per link, and the self-serve billing portal. Paid plans renew until you cancel in the Stripe billing portal.
Short links and QR codes
You may only shorten and encode destinations you are allowed to share. We may disable a short link or QR that is used for malware, spam, or illegal content. Updating a short-link destination keeps the same /l/{uid}. QR files you download are yours to print; we do not count camera scans.
Acceptable use
Do not use Forkply for illegal content, malware, spam, or to impersonate others. We may suspend pages, short links, or accounts that break these rules or the law.
Your content
You keep ownership of your profile content, destinations, and uploaded images. You grant us a license to host and display them so the public page, previews, and QR settings can work. You must have the rights to photos and text you upload.
Cancellation and EU consumer withdrawal
You can ask us to close a free account by email. You can cancel a paid subscription in the Stripe billing portal. Access continues until the end of the period already paid unless Stripe or the law requires otherwise. Canceling stops renewal. It does not always create a refund for time already used. Forkply is a digital service supplied online (a public page, short links, downloadable QR files, and paid extras). If you are a consumer in the EEA or Hungary, you generally have 14 days from concluding a paid distance contract to withdraw, without giving a reason. We start the paid plan as soon as Stripe payment succeeds so you can use Pro immediately. We do not currently show a separate checkbox that asks you to request immediate performance and to acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right. We therefore do not treat that right as waived. If you withdraw within 14 days, email szabogergo.ev@gmail.com. Mandatory consumer law may allow a proportionate charge for the digital service actually supplied up to withdrawal. After 14 days, use the Stripe portal to stop renewal. Free accounts have no paid fee to refund.
Consumers and complaints
If you are a consumer, email a complaint to szabogergo.ev@gmail.com. We will answer in writing. Hungarian consumers may also contact the consumer protection authority and the competent conciliation board (békéltető testület). For online contracts you may use the EU ODR platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not required to use a specific ADR body unless Hungarian law says otherwise for this activity.
Liability and law
To the extent allowed by mandatory law, Szabó Gergő Péter E.V. is not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages, and total liability for a paid period is limited to the amount you paid us for that period. This does not limit liability for intent, gross negligence, or other liability that Hungarian or EU law does not allow us to exclude. These terms are governed by Hungarian law. Courts in Hungary have jurisdiction, without limiting mandatory EU consumer venue rights.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after the updated date means you accept the new terms, except where the law requires extra notice.
